are called as students to spread the gospel to the SIUE campus.
The BSM has developed an Outreach Center to equip students with a variety of witnessing tools. The Outreach Center includes a wide range of Gospel tracts, Bibles, books, Evangecubes, cross necklaces, pins and much more - all of which are free for our students to use in sharing the Gospel.
Through the Outreach Center, our "free books" ministry places copies of The Bible and other evangelistic books in two locations - The Cougar Village Commons Area and the Sacred Grounds Coffee Shop in Edwardsville where students can freely pick up copies to read. In addition to the Bible, the free books ministry offers copies of "The Case For Christ," "More Than A Carpenter," "The Bible Promise Book," "Basic Christianity," and "The Case For Faith." Through this program, an average of 60 books a month are distributed.
Throughout the entire year students encourage each other to witness through the 7-4-7 program. The 7-4-7 consists of witnessing to at least one person each day of the week.
Three large outreaches are also done each year during Halloween, Finals Week and Easter. Students hand out bags of candy and other treats along with tracts that present the gospel and information about BSM.
