| IBSA Next Gen Mission Trips |
Park Avenue Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, IL is looking for a student to serve as their
summer youth minister. They are looking for someone to lead the youth, and get the youth
involved in outreach ministries of the church such as, Backyard Bible Clubs, Vacation Bible
School, and a food pantry ministry.
Because this is a summer missions opportunity through the North American Mission Board
of the Southern Baptist Convention, housing, food, and insurance are provided, along with
$75 a week.
Qualifications:
1. Finished your freshman year of college
2. Currently enrolled in College
3. Member of a Southern Baptist Church
4. 2.0 GPA
5. Strong desire to serve Christ this summer
Sandy Creek Baptist Association is looking for a student to spent their summer assisting
their churches. The association is located in Western Central Illinios.
Duties would include: assisting churches with Vacation Bible School, leadership at two
children's camps, and leadership at an association wide youth camp. There will also be
opportunities to assist in community outreach projects. If you have some Spanish skills,
this might be the job for you, as they are hoping to reach out the Hispanic population in
Beardstown.
Because this is a summer missions opportunity through the North American Mission Board
of the Southern Baptist Convention, housing, food, and insurance are provided, along with
